Sunny Skies
Today we read the book Weather by Pamela Chanko and Daniel Moreton. This book was about different activities you can do based on the weather. For our math and cognitive activity we made rainbows from different colored squares of paper. For our science and sensory time we used shaving cream, water, and food coloring to make a rain cloud. We filled a clear cup half way with water and topped it off with shaving cream. We then used the food coloring to drop on top of the shaving cream and waited as it passed from the shaving cream into the water creating a rain cloud. Lastly, for our fine motor and literacy activity we practiced tracing our names.
